1) This category is for photos that have an animal in them, and at this time we are also allowing
"people" photos on this site

2) You may upload your photo in any size up to 5MB, but we will resize it to a width of 1280
pixels; it must be in jpg or jpeg format. It is recommended that you resize the photo yourself to
1280 pixels so that you have the best possible image quality in that size.

3) Maximum of 3 entries per month per category.

4) Our web host does not allow adult content, so although you may make the judge's day, your
photo will not be chosen if it is not tasteful or if it contains nudity.

5) By sending your photo to us, you give POTD Group the right to display it on the Internet if
you win; you retain your copyright of the photo. We will never sell, give away, or otherwise
utilize your photo in any way other than to display it as a photo of the day.

6) Please note that, if chosen, your photo may appear as the POTD on a different day of the
month than the day that you sent it.

7) If there are prizes for the contest and you are a winner, you are responsible for paying any
state or local taxes on your winnings. If such contests are illegal in your state or country,
please do not enter.

-In the subject line, enter the title or caption for your photo
-Be sure to list your camera, your name, and your location i.e. city and state
-You may make a short note about the photo
-If you are a winner, you will be notified by email to get address information
-Don't forget to attach the photo, and make sure it is at least 1024 pixels wide
